I found this article very interesting. It is an article from CalorieLab (A helpful website for calculating calories of your food). It shows by state the percentage of residents that rank as obese.According to their research Mississippi ranks #1 for the 3rd consecutive year. Looks like Indiana ranks #9 under the 3 year average so maybe I am doing my part to help bring them down the next time!
Probably the scariest stat that I see on their chart is the fact that the lowest % of people overweight or obese in 2007 was 55.7 in Colorado! 55.7% was the lowest!! Holy Cow we are a fat country!
